Flight Boy began his career by interning at Funky Town Studios in Minneapolis while a freshman in high school.   He was able to work with Prince, Mint Condition, Johnny Lang.  Flight was also able to work under Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis after winning a talent show in high school.  This is where he learned how to make beats and produce.

Flight moved to Baltimore when he was 22 and has been heavy in the game since then.  In 5 years Flight has worked at South Beach, Miami Studios with Andrew Robear.  Written, produced and engineered for Bill Pettaway (Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Total, Aaliyah), created a music group (Gawntlit Music Group) and worked with major artist in every aspect of studio production.  

 

He produces for every genre and plays every instrument.   Flight has placements with Theory (ONLY1THEORY), DISEMAN, Andrew Robear, Born Divine (WuTang Clan), Kelly Lo and has co produced a single with Sean Paul.   He has headlined more than 8 shows as an artist, but production is his passion.
